Information You Submit
A third-party provider receives the name, phone number, or address entered in a search form. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the content you choose to send and use it to answer.
Automatic Technical Data
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review aggregate activity to maintain the service and understand page use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technology.
How Data Is Used
Limited data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual readers.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, applies to defined consumer health data rather than creating a general right to erase public records. Because we retain very little, a request generally involves checking our contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by Washington, Snohomish County, or municipal offices remain under the custodian's control, so correction or removal requests must go there.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
